I’m Jared and I founded The Gathering Place in 2012. I have fond memories playing boardgames and chess with my family since I was five. I found Magic the Gathering in 7th grade, Pokemon in 9th grade, and then D&D in college. The friends and memories I’ve made while gaming drove me to want to make a place for people to find and enjoy their passions. As a father of 4 I now get to share my love of gaming with my family.
