What we are
CoinShop Finder is an independent directory of coin shops, coin dealers and bullion buyers in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. We're not a dealer, we don't buy or sell coins, and we're not affiliated with PCGS, NGC, ANA, CAC, Google or the BBB.
What makes a listing here different
- What the shop buys, in its own words. We read each dealer's website and record what it says it buys and does, with the quote.
- What customers report. We count what recent Google reviewers mention — the coins they sold, whether they call the offer fair or low — without copying reviews or inventing ratings.
- Third-party records. BBB grades and complaints, NGC authorization, and other directory listings, each linked to its source.
- Coin shops and pawn shops, kept apart. A pawn shop can be a fine place to sell scrap gold and a poor place to sell a rare date. Our city pages separate the two.
- The local rules. Each state page explains sales tax on gold and silver and what the law requires when you sell to a dealer, with citations.

What we don't do
- No paid placement. Dealers can't buy a higher spot or a badge.
- No AI-written dealer descriptions and no star ratings of our own.
- No lead selling. We don't collect your contact details to pass to dealers.
Corrections and dealers
If something on a listing is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. Dealers can send their buy-price page, appraisal policy or hours; we publish what we can verify, free.
