Selling at a coin show: a quick plan

  1. Check melt values the morning of the show with our silver checker and offer checker.
  2. Walk the whole floor first. Note which tables specialize in what you have: bullion, U.S. type coins, paper money, world coins.
  3. Ask two or three dealers for an offer on the same items. Offers on the same coins can differ a lot.
  4. Expect cash or a check, and expect to show ID for larger sales in some states.
